Booster Pump Stations

Water availability is key to meeting your customer’s usage demands. Having the proper pumping facilities is essential in meeting those demands. These pump stations must meet the State design criteria and any special requirements of your system. Their design must consider the water source as well as the pumping endpoint. Green designs using SCADA, variable frequency drives, and other energy design features are a growing consideration. Throughout this process, consideration needs to be given to the future growth of the system being served.

Hayter Engineering has a broad range of design experience with pump stations for transferring water from treatment facilities or wells located remote from the system being served as well as facilities located within the system. These designs are coupled with the need for and design of pressure sources such as elevated tanks, standpipes or hydro-pneumatic tanks.
